It was tough coming up for a title for this piece, but I felt that Sonata Miniatures did the trick. The movements are small in stature, but noble in intent. Initially I wrote these as three separate pieces, but their modal nature and short length gave me the idea of putting them together. After combining them, I added sections to the third movement where thematic material from the first two could return. I performed it for the first time in March of 2019.
